Lovell Stone Group have supplied Portland Whitbed stone to a stunning residential development at 42 Pall Mall, London.
42-43 Pall Mall which is situated within the exclusive enclave of St James’s is a prestigious new build scheme which includes four luxury apartments and retail space on the lower floors.
The project was to create a free standing façade which was clad on both sides where the main objective was to replicate the ornate stonework of the adjacent building.
At the ground floor there are Bolection Jambs which are spanned by a fluted and carved head course. The first and second floors are divided by a heavy carved Segmental Pediment, carved Roundel’s and fluted Corbels.
As we progress up the building the second to third floor features 3no carved Friezes with more carved Roundel’s and fluted Corbels. Finally, the third to fourth floor comprises of carved Heads, sunken Panels, carved Roundel’s and a dentil sub cornice with a larger modillion Cornice above.
A truly beautiful building in the heart of London, one that we are very proud of.
